A Cycling Club by Steuben Brewing Company
Pedal for Pilsners is a bicycle club that rides out of Steuben Brewing Company Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings. We are a fun group of cyclists looking for the next great adventure on two wheels. Join us for group rides, and follow us on our Facebook and Strava page to connect with other cyclists and to receive updates on cycling events and rides.
Post your rides and other cycling-related information on our Pedal for Pilsners Facebook Group to stay connected. In the rare event that a club ride needs to be canceled, we will communicate on the group page.

Chad Zimar
Head of Brewing/Brewery Operations at Steuben Brewing Company
Chad Zimar, owner of Steuben Brewing Company, brings passion and community to life through the Keuka Lake Gravel Classic, an annual race showcasing the Finger Lakes’ stunning vistas and challenging terrain. Hosting riders from across the country, the event reflects Chad’s dedication to blending craft and adventure. Beyond the brewery’s 100% New York State beers, Chad fosters a vibrant outdoor culture through cycling (Pedal for Pilsners) and hiking clubs. For Chad, cycling in the Finger Lakes is about connection—whether to the landscape, to nature, or to each other. His leadership turns every ride into a celebration of life in the Finger Lakes.
“Cycling here isn’t just exercise—it’s a way to decompress, to connect with nature, and to build community.”
